OSBI Seeks Help To Find Woman’s Killer

The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation is asking for help solving the mysterious murder of an Oklahoma mother nearly two years ago. The body of Jody Rilee-Wilson was discovered near Heavener, Oklahoma in May 2009.
Jody’s husband and young daughter returned home from a funeral in Texas to discover her missing. A paragliding instructor flying over the Heavener Runestone Park later spotted her body under deep cover on a hilltop.
Initial investigation of the crime scene, autopsy and toxicology reports didn’t point to a cause of death, although the death is deemed suspicious. Reports indicated that Jody was dragged to the mountaintop after her death, but the medical examiner was able to determine little else.
Jody was identified through dental records and was wearing her wedding ring. She had two receipts and $11.64 in her pocket. Approximately one month after Jody’s death, her Chevy S10 Blazer was found 100 miles from her home at a high-traffic rest stop in Henryetta, Oklahoma, off of Interstate 40.
A reward for information leading to an arrest in the case made possible by the Rilee family, friends and the Morris County Crime Stoppers has just been increased to $30,000.
Sooners Set Annual Spring Game for April 16

Oklahoma athletic department officials say the Sooners’ annual spring football game is scheduled for April 16.
Also Tuesday, the university said the Sooners are tentitavely scheduled to start spring drills on March 8.
Oklahoma is set to return 29 position players who started at least one game this past season, when the Sooners went 12-2, won their seventh Big 12 Conference title in 11 years and beat Connecticut in the Fiesta Bowl.
Among those returning will be first-team All-America wide receiver Ryan Broyles and linebacker Travis Lewis, who has led Oklahoma in tackles each of the last three seasons.
